Hello, everyone. I'm Natalie. And today Veritas health is bringing you the kneeling one stretch for instant back pain relief. Regular stretching of the muscles, tendons, and ligaments of the low back is an important part of all back exercise programs. To perform the stretch, you will kneel on the ground with your weight evenly distributed through both legs. You'll put your hands on the top thigh and shift your weight forward until a gentle stretch is felt through the front of the hip.

You can hold this stretch for up to one minute, working up to three times on each side. If it is uncomfortable to kneel, this exercise can be modified by standing with your hands on your hips, or one hand on a wall, and shifting your weight forward until, once again, a gentle stretch is felt through the front of the thigh. You can hold the stretch for up to one minute, working up to three times on each side. You can learn more about back pain here at spinehealth.com.
